Prior to joining InVision, Rodney spent 4 years as a scientist at Progress Energy (Fortune 250 Company). During his tenure, he participated on and led strong research teams that were recognized nationally for their superior achievement. In college, he was awarded Student Athlete of the Year and holds three Southern Conference records in baseball. He ranks second in Appalachian history in starts and innings pitched. His experience in competitive athletics, on and off the field, taught him how to be a team player as well as lead groups to achieve common goals. His strongest assets are his ethics, people skills, attention to detail, and genuine concern for candidate and client interests.

At InVision, Rodney focuses his efforts in managing key accounts and recruiting talented professionals in Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, and Clinical Research. He works closely with his clients to understand the needs and culture of their organization. This allows him to focus on a select group of candidates who possess the soft and hard skills the client desires. Conversely, he is able to serve candidates in much the same way by listening to what they do, why they do it, and what their long term career goals are. He has proven his ability to provide not only extraordinary talent but individuals who will fit in and contribute immediately. His genuine approach to recruiting allows him to reach out to a dedicated group of professionals who have grown to trust him and the clients he represents. He works with both large and small companies in the Pharmaceutical, Biotech, and Medical Device industries.

Rodney holds a Bachelor of Science (Biology) from Appalachian State University and a Master’s of Science (Biology) from North Carolina State University.
